JKS Disconnects

Since 1989, JKS has been providing quality after-market products for Jeeps.  Their very first product was the Quick Disconnect and this is still one of their top selling parts.  They have a commitment to providing the best Jeep parts and accessories that money can buy.  Not only that, they add to the commitment to provide those parts at affordable prices.

What is a Disconnect?

A disconnect is something that every off road enthusiast should know about.  It basically is a part that enables you to disconnect the sway bar links quickly and easily.  The sway bar enables transference of torsion across the axle when the vehicle makes turns at a high speed.  Since you don’t do this often when off road, you really don’t need this.  What you do need is the added independent suspension control that you get when you use the disconnect.

JKS makes a disconnect that is not only stronger and more versatile; it is also quicker and more easy to use than by disconnecting the sway bar manually.  Once it is installed, you simply need to pull the lynch pin that keeps the male and female parts mated and it will disconnect them allowing you to have more control over each of your wheels.

Where can I buy it?

JKS Disconnects are readily available for you to purchase.  If you do not already know where there is an authorized JKS dealer near you, you can go to the JKS web site.  On the home page there is a link that you can click to locate a dealer.  That link takes you to a page where you can search either by zip code or dealer information.  You can also take your search directly to Google and just type whatever part you are looking for as your search query.  You will receive an untold amount of listings for that part and the dealers from whom you can get it.

Does it have a Warranty?

JKS believes in and stands behind every single part and accessory that is made by them and they back this belief up by offering a warranty on them.  Each warranty is part specific meaning that the warranty offered will differ from part to part.  Warranty information can be found in the packaging material that your part came with.  Make sure that you read and fully understand what is covered and what is not for your safety and peace of mind
