JKS Track Bar

JKS

JKS manufactures some of the best aftermarket Jeeps parts and accessories.  While they are known for the JKS Quicker Disconnect, they make suspensions, lift kits and a host of other parts as well.  They were founded in 1989 when they first started making the Quicker Disconnect and they have grown since then into the world-renowned Jeep parts and accessories company that we know and love today.

Track Bars

For those of you who are not in the know, a track bar is a part of a vehicle’s suspension system.  It is also called a Panhard bar because its origins are the Panhard Company in France.  Its purpose is to provide lateral location of the axle.  What this means in layman’s terms is that it keeps the wheels from moving laterally and to ensure that they only move forward and backward.

JKS Track Bar

A JKS track bar is actually a quite simple part.  It is a simple bar.  This bar runs sideways underneath the car parallel to the axle.  It connects the body to the axle on the opposite side.  The length of the JKS track bar is adjustable.    One of the features is the bushings that are used on this track bar.  They actually make road noise a lot less quiet while they provide the ultimate off road performance.  The bushings are rubber or polyurethane depending on the needs of the driver.  Track bars made by JKS are zinc plated.

Availability

You can find any JKS part that you need quickly and easily.  If you know of a local authorized JKS dealer, then you can just go there and get your parts.  If not, you can find one by logging on to the JKS web site and doing a search for one.  If you don’t mind ordering your parts from the Internet, you can just go to Google and do a search for whatever part you need.  Your search will yield thousands of results giving you countless ways and places to purchase your part.

All JKS parts come with part specific warranties.  Warranty information can be found in the packaging material that your part came in.  If you cannot find it, simply call JKS to get a copy of it.  Make sure that you read and fully understand all of the warranty information so that you know exactly what limitations are defined and what is covered.
